Is my audio stored on your servers? ▼
No. Audio is sent to our API, processed by the transcription engine, and immediately discarded. We do not store audio files, recordings, or any voice data.
Is the transcribed text saved on the server? ▼
No. The server returns the text to your device and does not log or store it. Your transcription history is saved locally on your Mac only. We only track anonymous usage metrics (word count, latency) to improve the service.
How does Joxi Voice work? ▼
Press Fn (or your custom hotkey), speak, and release. Your audio is sent over HTTPS to our API for transcription. The text is returned and pasted into your active application. The whole process takes under a second.
What languages are supported? ▼
Russian, English, German, and French are fully supported with automatic language detection. More languages coming soon.
What is the free plan? ▼
The free plan gives you 2,000 words per week with up to 2 devices. No credit card required. Paid plans with higher limits are coming soon.
What macOS versions are supported? ▼
macOS 12 (Monterey) and later on Apple Silicon Macs. The app runs natively as an ARM64 binary — no Rosetta needed.
